Hazing

The hazing, or fogging system controls birds through behavior modification; The fog sweeps birds from treated areas without impacting the use or operation of the facility. The haze, Methyl Anthranilate (MA), irritates the birds mucous membranes. This discomfort repels the birds away from their roosting area.

The MA is delivered through a programmable, fully automatic dispensing machine. The machine is installed at an elevated location and is pointed in the direction of the infestation or roost. Timers are set to correspond to high bird activity, and dispense the product only when birds are active.

The hazing (fogging) units are small and self contained, have a built in heater, timer, and are enclosed in a heavy duty box. Weather protection is provided through the use of a weatherproof cover.
